
Grand Master Chris Lee
Grand Master Chris Lee is a Korean American author, entrepreneur, public speaker, coach, and certified self-defense instructor in Combat TKD and COBRA. He is also a 9th Degree Grandmaster in TKD, 4th Degree Master in Jin Joong Hapkido, Level 1 Certified Instructor in Tacosa Serrada Escrima, Level 1 Philippine Martial Arts Association Instructor.
He began his training under the tutelage of his father, Great Grand Master Yi In Soo, at the young age of 4. He has trained under various masters and grandmasters in furthering his knowledge and skill in TKD, including Sung Chae Kim, Won Kuk Kim, Kim Bok Man, and his uncle Pyo. He has also taken various seminars, workshops, and training camps from famous celebrity martial artists like Dan Inosanto, Larry Hartsell, Ted Lucay Lucay, Cynthia Rothrock, Lyoto Machida, Billy Blanks, Bill Wallace, Joe Lewis, and the Gracie brothers.
He has taken his lifelong passion for martial arts, combining it with modern fitness and strength conditioning drills. His teaching encompasses life skills such as focus, discipline, determination, goal setting, and respect. Grand Master Chris Lee’s mission is to empower lives through martial arts training and build a better world through a community of positive role models, One Black Belt at a Time.
“Pil Sung” is his favorite Korean phrase, which translates to, “I am certain of victory!”
